- Roster and Characters: Includes all 16 iconic characters from the Super Street Fighter II series. Akuma (Gouki) is featured as a secret boss and unlockable playable character, marking his first appearance in a handheld Street Fighter title with his signature "Raging Demon" (Shun Goku Satsu) move.
- Customized Controls: To accommodate the GBA's four-button layout, the game uses a modified control scheme. Strong attacks are typically mapped to the L and R shoulder buttons, while light and medium attacks share face buttons based on how long they are held.
- Easy Command Mode: A beginner-friendly option that allows players to perform complex special moves and Super Combos with simple button combinations (e.g., A+B for a Super).
